What Is Magis Thinking?
Magis (“màh-gis”) from the Latin, and means, “greater than, or even more.” Magis Thinking is based on the axiom that great things are possible when aspirations become a series of evolutionary steps, forming a road map from here to there.
Magis Thinking is achieved by understanding the GAP between where we are and where we are going, and the changes necessary to make the journey.
Basic traits of Magis Thinkers:
- Magis Thinkers believe that our future is determined by how we think.
- Magis Thinkers have clear vision and purpose. They are intensely focused, and yet have great ability to understand what is important to others.
- Magis Thinkers are leaders. They understand that all setbacks are temporary, and they are calm under fire.
- Magis Thinkers tend to believe in great possibilities. They look at problems just long enough to discover the unresolved opportunities beneath the surface.
- Magis Thinkers consider themselves a work in progress. They are humble, even as they know they will accomplish great things.
- Magis Thinkers listen carefully to family, friends, co-workers, and also those unfamiliar to them. They see diverse perspectives and insights as added value.
- Magis Thinkers don’t take themselves too seriously. They have a good sense of humor, and exercise it daily.
- Magis Thinkers, as a rule, are not political beings. They care more about “What’s Right” than “Who’s Right”.
- Magis Thinkers are often called “eternal optimists”. Actually, over time, they have learned to expect and believe in positive results.
- Magis Thinkers are courageous innovators and good communicators.
- Magis Thinkers know what they want to have happen next, and they know how to connect the dots to achieve long-term goals.
Magis Thinking is a brand of leadership reserved for those who connect a clear and vibrant vision with the true potential of the people around them. Simply, they bring out the best in others and seek it of themselves.
Magis Thinking engages teams and individuals who desire a deeper understanding of how ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. Our program looks at beliefs, habits, and attitudes and gets specific about results-driven strategy.
Magis Thinking challenges conventional thinking and integrates leadership values such as self-awareness, ingenuity, courage, and compassion.
